For individuals facing high-acuity substance use challenges, repeated relapse, or major life instability, Partial Hospitalization (PHP) at In The Gap Academy provides a structured, immersive recovery experience — without removing you from your community, family, or responsibilities.
Unlike inpatient rehab, our PHP program allows clients to receive comprehensive care during the day and return home or to approved housing at night. This model offers the best of both worlds: clinical intensity with real-world integration.
We don’t just focus on sobriety. We help clients address the root causes of substance use — from trauma and emotional regulation to housing insecurity and reentry stress.
Individuals who have experienced recent relapse or loss of stability
Clients stepping down from inpatient care who still need intensive support
Court-mandated or probation-involved individuals requiring structured treatment
People dealing with multiple life stressors alongside substance use
Those who have not found success in traditional outpatient or support group settings
Wraparound Services: We integrate care coordination, practical planning, and personal advocacy into every case. Clients leave with a roadmap — not just a discharge date.
Culturally Grounded and Trauma-Informed: Our team understands the unique experiences of underserved communities, returning citizens, and individuals facing generational trauma. Clients don’t have to explain their background — we’ve built our program for it.
Non-Punitive, Compassionate Accountability: We don’t shame, isolate, or punish people into change. We guide with structure, consistency, and connection. Clients stay engaged because they feel respected.
Real-Life Transition Planning: Recovery doesn’t end when the program does. We prepare clients for what’s next: employment, housing, family reconnection, and continued care.
5–6 hours per day, 5 days per week of structured therapeutic services, including:
Group Therapy focused on substance use education, relapse prevention, and emotional resilience
Individual Counseling with licensed professionals to explore trauma, triggers, and personal goals
Case Management that supports housing, documentation, employment, or legal compliance
Peer Support from mentors who’ve walked a similar path
Life Skills Training built into your treatment, including financial literacy, transportation, and communication
Access to Hybrid Options when transportation or life obligations limit daily attendance
We build each client’s treatment plan based on their needs — not a template.
PHP is often the turning point in recovery. It provides enough intensity to create real change — while still honoring the client’s autonomy and ability to rebuild in their own community.
For many of our clients, PHP is where they begin to believe in themselves again.
On-site or coordinated mental health counseling
Housing assistance during or after treatment
Transportation and appointment navigation
Court documentation and reporting support
Access to our other program tracks: IOP, OP, DUI/Early Intervention

Most clients who come to us have tried other programs — and left feeling judged, dismissed, or stuck. What makes ITG Academy different is that we don’t just treat the symptoms. We treat the systemic barriers holding people back.
You don’t have to do this alone. And you don’t have to settle for less. ITG Academy offers treatment that transforms — because we treat the whole person.
